In order to support this transition, Renault has developed a vehicle that is easy to use, efficient and enjoyable to drive every day and also for longer journeys. With its revamped design, upgraded high-tech environment and enhanced electric performance, New Megane E-Tech electric is out to consolidate its position in the compact EV segment.Renault Group has made a commitment to build Megane E-Tech electric in Europe, at the ElectriCity industrial hub. The vehicle and its battery, whose cells are manufactured in Europe, will be assembled at the Douai plant in northern France, while the motor will be manufactured at the Cl%u00e9on plant in Normandy. The restyling of Renault Megane E-Tech electric gives it an even more dynamic personality and stronger on-road presence. The front end of New Megane E-Tech electric has been deeply remodeled. Apart from the headlights, all components are new.The body-coloured section of the bumper is more prominent, underlining the perception of sportiness. The side air intakes are replaced by a new light signature with eight diamondshaped components in a chequerboard pattern, bringing the front end to life. Positioned at the outer edges of the bumper, these lights make the vehicle look wider. By drawing the eye downwards, they give Megane E-Tech electric a stronger road-hugging stance. The closed grille with its gloss black finish and diamond pattern, is part of this new visual identity, as is the Renault logo. Now positioned under the bonnet, the logo subtly alters the visual perception of the front end by accentuating its forward leaning stance.The light signature has been fully restyled to make New Megane E-Tech electric recognisable at first glance. The front end gains a more contemporary look with daytime running lights featuring a distinctive, graphic design with a diamond pattern. The rear lights maintain their iconic full width layout, but are now designed as 3D parts without a covering lens. This new light signature gives the vehicle a strong and instantly recognisable visual identity.Megane gains increased on-road presence. It is slightly taller (20 mm) owing to the bigger battery and also looks wider at the front. At the rear, skirt has been reshaped with a more sporty intention. The lateral decorative parts structure this element, giving the vehicle a stronger onroad-stance.
