This latest offering illustrates the positioning of LPG as a powertrain in its own right, delivering performance levels comparable to those of petrol versions, particularly with the automatic gearbox. Performance levels are also significantly better than with the previous generation LPG.The arrival of a dual-clutch (EDC) automatic gearbox mated to the LPG powertrain is a real plus for Clio. While other models can point to lower running costs or a higher range with LPG, the availability of an automatic gearbox is a real differentiating factor for Clio.
