A total of around 51,000 units were sold including around 32,000 trucks (+10%), approximately 3,300 buses (+2%) and just under 16,000 vans (+6%). The engine business grew by 17%, with almost 6,000 units sold. While demand developed positively in many European markets, the traditionally important German market lagged behind this trend. Business with fully electric vehicles developed particularly dynamically: unit sales rose by 37% to around 1,100 units, including around 600 eTrucks and more than 500 eBuses.\range is holding its own in a challenging market environment. The electric truck portfolio will then span everything from light-duty distribution trucks to heavy-duty long-haul tractor units. The allelectric heavy-duty models, the MAN eTGX and eTGS, offer a range of around 570 kilometres in a typical 4x2 tractor-semitrailer configuration. The new MAN eTGM, designed for urban and regional distribution operations, provides a range of up to 500 kilometres as a rigid truck.
